WEST END JUNIOR ACADEMY
Train in the heart of London's West End with professional performers and industry creatives on our Musical Theatre Summer School for ages 10–15.
Spend five days training in the rehearsal studios of the Dominion Theatre, in the heart of London's West End.
Designed for young performers aged 10–15, the Junior Academy combines acting, singing and dance with West End show workshops, audition technique and industry training led by current and recent West End performers and professionals.
With limited numbers, this is a highly personalised week where every participant has the opportunity to learn, develop their skills and build confidence. The week finishes with a showcase for family and friends, giving everyone their moment to shine.
Travelling to London?
Our West End Junior Academy is a non-residential course, so participants will need to stay with a parent or responsible adult in London and be dropped off and collected each day at the Dominion Theatre.

MORE THAN A SUMMER SCHOOL
The Junior Academy is about more than putting on a show. With a maximum of 25 participants, we focus on meaningful, personalised training where every young performer is seen, supported and challenged throughout the week.

WHO IS THE JUNIOR ACADEMY FOR?
The West End Junior Academy is designed for young performers aged 10–15 who are passionate about musical theatre and want to develop their skills through professional West End training.
Participants come to us with different levels of experience. Some already train regularly in acting, singing and dance or attend theatre and performing arts schools, while others are earlier in their training but share the same enthusiasm and commitment to performing.
We welcome young performers from across the UK and around the world, giving participants the chance to meet like-minded people who share their passion for musical theatre, make new friends and train together in the heart of London's West End.
With a small group and personalised approach, we can challenge and support each young performer at the right level, helping them develop their technique, confidence, creativity, communication and performance skills throughout the week.
If they love performing and want to learn, work hard and experience what it is like to train with West End professionals, they'll feel at home at Junior Academy.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
COURSE TIMES
Monday to Friday, 10am–5pm, with the final showcase for family and friends at 4pm on Friday.
LOCATION
The Junior Academy takes place in the rehearsal studios of the Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Road, in the heart of London’s West End.
NON-RESIDENTIAL COURSE
Our Junior Academy is non-residential. Participants will need to be dropped off and collected from the Dominion Theatre by a parent or responsible adult each day.
LUNCH
Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle each day.
TRAVELLING TO LONDON?
We welcome young performers from across the UK and around the world. If you are visiting London for the Junior Academy, a parent or responsible adult will need to arrange accommodation and remain responsible for the participant outside Academy hours.
